MEMBERSHIP

Individual lawyers, law students, law lectures legal practitioners, auxiliaries and Paralegal’s join an autonomous national organisation affiliated to ISAL and representation to ISAL is further facilitated by regional councils of the society. The competitive advantage of being an ISAL member is that it attracts bright, creative and able individuals with zeal and a passion to contribute, to aid the fallen and those, in need of help.

 

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

This form of membership exists for other professionals who are not lawyers, but who are nonetheless relevant to the multi-discipline and complex activities involved in ISAL’s international objectives such as the Network of European Human Rights Advocates.

FUNDING

ISAL is a non-profit organisation, its source of income derives from, subscriptions, membership and donations.

In meeting the challenges and preparing for the future, ISAL is revising its constitution and will establish a separate Foundation to promote its work and assist charitable causes all over the world. Many people will have been moved by the third world images of the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, the earthquake victims in Haiti, the flood victims in Pakistan and the continual internal conflicts in nation states, particularly civil wars in Africa.

ISAL will establish an International Board of Trustees based on United Nations principles and rules of transparency in the allocation of funds for projects.

ISAL FOUNDATION will develop strategies and offer funding, to groups and individuals to ameliorate the conditions of those on the edge of disaster and despondency.
